We Don't Send Workers.
We Introduce Friends.
The story of how we're revolutionising care in Merseyside, one meaningful connection at a time.

Our Story
Friends Helping at Home was founded by Andrew Richardson, who witnessed firsthand the flaws in traditional care agencies. He saw a system that was "tick-box led" and lacked heart—where carers were rushed, undervalued, and clients were treated as numbers on a rota.
Andrew envisioned something different: a service where professionals could work with dignity, set their own rates, and build genuine relationships with the people they support. Where clients could choose who enters their home, rather than accepting whoever happens to be available.
That vision became Friends Helping at Home—the revolutionary introductory agency that's changing care for the better.
